About VERIS Aromatic Candles:
Each candle has been wicked, scented and poured by hand. Only the finest naturally-filtered beeswax, soy (with added botanical oils), cotton wicking and plant essential oils are used in their manufacture.
Our candles are free of paraffin and other petroleum-derived waxes, metal-cored wicks, synthetic hardeners and adhesion agents.
No chemical dyes or color fixatives are used so the true amber color of natural beeswax is revealed. Our premium ivory beeswax achieves its light color through natural filtration, not chemical bleaching. Color variations in candles made with ivory beeswax and soy will naturally occur with the addition of essential oils.
Essential oils have been specially chosen to complement the natural honey-scent of the beeswax. No artificial fragrances are used (Note: New “Luxe” boxed candle line contains a blend of premium fragrance oils and essential oils) .
Beeswax and soy burn cleaner and longer than the more commonly used petroleum-based waxes.
Beeswax & Soy Candle Burning Tips:
Keep your wicks trimmed! The wick should be trimmed to 1/4” before lighting. Should the flame become too large, extinguish, trim and re-light. If the wick is too long or contaminated it will impede the flow of oxygen and cause your candle to smoke and burn poorly. Do not allow wick debris to collect in the wax pool.
Keep your candles out of drafts. If the flame is flickering then your candle is in a draft and will smoke and/or burn unevenly.
Beeswax is a very slow-burning wax. It is important to allow for sufficient burn time to obtain a good wax pool. To prevent candles from tunneling a small hole down the center, burn candles for at least one hour for each inch of diameter of the container.
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Burn on a heat-resistant surface. Do not move or touch candle while hot or while wax is liquid. Keep out of reach of children.
